Dear passengers, we have prepared a few tips and suggestions for you on how to go through airport security in the easiest and fastest way:
You must always follow the instructions of the airport staff.
Passengers with metal body replacements such as a hip joint or spine replacement, should have an official confirmation from their doctor.
Before arriving at the airport, each passenger should know the important rules, based on Commission Regulations (ES) 1546/2006 which lays down the principles of fluid transport within the EU.
In the hand luggage it is permitted to carry liquids and gels up to 100 ml only in their original packaging. These must be stored in transparent, resealable bags with a capacity of up to 1 litre (available at the airport at the safety personnel). Every person may carry only 1 bag.
Liquids in larger quantities than 100 ml can be transported in the checked baggage which you drop off at the check-in counters. The baggage will be stored in the cargo compartment of the aircraft during flight.
Exceptions:
It is possible to take liquids on board only for medical purposes or if you have a special need or diet, this includes baby food. In this case, you must not take more than it is necessary for the duration of your flight.
The passenger might be asked to taste the contents by the security personnel or you may also be asked to show a valid medical document. (i.e. if carrying insulin, you need a doctor’s confirmation or prescription with the name of the person travelling)
