Travelling with children

Children up the age of two with a valid ticket are entitled to have their luggage checked in under the same conditions as adult passengers.

Children under the age of two that do not have their own seat reserved are entitled to transport of a folded pram/pushchair free of charge and one piece of checked luggage whose total measurement must not be more than 115 cm and must not weigh more than 10 kg.

Passengers are recommended to contact their tour operator in advance to verify information regarding children’s travel documents and luggage weight.

If agreed by the airport staff, the pram/pushchair may be loaded into the cargo hold just prior to boarding and handed over upon arrival directly at the airport ramp. The prohibition of liquids on board does not apply to baby food. Security staff have the right to ask the adults accompanying the children to taste such liquids in order to rule out any confusion with dangerous substances.
