WIFI Service

The airport provides free Wi-Fi Internet connection available in all public and non-public areas of the new terminal.

Instructions on how to connect your own equipment (laptops, PDAs, Smartphones etc.) to our Wi-Fi.

1) Search for a connection for a free of charge Wi-Fi.

In the list of available network connections you will see “free-hotspot.com“. You can connect to it by clicking on it. In case you see a warning that it is an unsecured connection it is necessary to uncheck this warning. You will be successfully connected when you see the notice “connected to free-hotspot.com” – see picture.

2) Using the internet while connected to “free-hotspot”

When launching the web browser the home screen will always appear. This is set to Czech language but it is also possible to change the language from the options.

For free internet access it is necessary to click on the button at the bottom of the page “have your free internet access”

A web page with a banner will be opened. Once again it is necessary to click on “Start your free internet connection”
After that the Ostrava Airport website will automatically open and from this moment the user is ready to visit any website or simply surf the net.

After every 30 minutes the user is automatically disconnected from this service and to continue it is necessary to follow the same procedures from step number 2.
