More infoTravelling abroad with a pet is possible with a passport according to law No. 998/2003. From the 2nd July 2011 all dogs, cats and ferrets must have a microchip.
The animal must be transported in an appropriate box to ensure freedom of movement and ventilation. Smaller animals can be transported on board the aircraft, but no more than two at once and only after approval of the captain of the aircraft. Larger animals will be transported in the luggage compartment.
Please make sure that the transported animal is equipped with all necessary documents required at your final destination.
